Baha’i Membership Resources and Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some administrative questions Baha’is often address to the National Center. Most of the answers can be found on the administrative website, www.usbnc.org, which requires an American Baha’i identification number to access. Q: How do I locate the Baha'i community in a specific city or state?
A: If you are an American Baha’i, you may search the directory of Local Spiritual Assemblies and Registered Groups at www.usbnc.org/lsa.asp. If you are unable to access the U.S. Baha’i administrative website, please fill out the form on the contact page of this site, http://contact.bahai.us, and the information you request will be emailed to you.


Q: How can I locate a particular Baha’i friend?
A: The National Spiritual Assembly does not disclose the names and addresses of individuals, but the National Center can forward your request. Contact is-membership@usbnc.org for more information, or see question #2 on the web page of the Office of Membership and Records: www.usbnc.org/dept/members.asp.


Q: How do I change my official contact information (name, address, phone, etc.)?
A: To change your contact information in the national database, contact your Local Spiritual Assembly or the Office of Membership and Records: is-membership@usbnc.org. You can find more information in question #5 on the membership office’s web page: www.usbnc.org/dept/members.asp.


Q: Where can I find 19-Day Feast messages?
A: You can find a regularly updated archive of Feast messages in English, Persian and Spanish at www.usbnc.org/comm/nsa/feast_eng.asp.


Q: How do I sign up for pilgrimage?
A: Please go to http://pilgrimage.bahai.org, the pilgrimage website maintained by the Baha’i World Center.


Q: How do I register my child as a Baha’i?

A: You can request a child registration card from your Local Spiritual Assembly or through the Office of Membership and Records, is-membership@usbnc.org.


Q: How can I replace my lost Baha’i ID card?
A: You can obtain a new identification card ($5) from:
