Explore Baha’u’llah’s early mystic writings

The mystical writings of Baha'u'llah, Founder of the Baha'i Faith, is the subject of a three-month online course offered by the Wilmette Institute starting Sept. 15.

The Institute is an educational agency of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of the United States and is currently the principal worldwide source of e-learning courses on the Baha'i Faith.

"Baha'u'llah's Early Mystic Writings " examines His poetry, as well as The Seven Valleys, The Four Valleys, The Hidden Words, Tablet of the Holy Mariner and the Rashh-i-Ama (The Mist of Unknown), believed to be Baha'u'llah's earliest known scriptural writing, revealed during His imprisonment in the Siyah-Chal (Black Pit) dungeon in Tehran, Iran in 1852.

The Institute will provide extensive Baha'i commentaries and study materials, as well as a selection of Sufi texts that provide the historical and literary context for allusions in Baha'u'llah's writings.

Tuition is $150; $120 for students and those 65 and older; and $300 for groups. Financial aid is available. For more information, call 877-945-6388, email info@wilmetteinstitute.org or visit the Wilmette Institute's website .
