House of Worship Activities

Please note that the Visitors Center will be closed for approximately one year beginning May 19, 2008. However, the auditorium (prayer hall) will remain open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day. We regret that the elevator to the auditorium will not be available during this partial closing.

Devotional Programs--Monday through Friday at 5:15 p.m. and on weekends at 9:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

These brief programs consist of readings from the Baha'i sacred texts and scriptures of other world religions. Sunday programs sometimes feature music from the House of Worship Choir and chanting in various languages.

 

Upcoming Special Events

Wednesday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. -- The Martyrdom of the Bab
The Baha'i observance of the anniversary of the dramatic life sacrifice of the Bab, Prophet and forerunner of Baha'u'llah.
